The great Swiss London Treasure Hunt

Seven places to find, super prizes to be won: it’s time for the Swiss London Treasure Hunt. Next week the House of Switzerland opens in London, and to celebrate that event we’ve created a special treasure hunt involving Swiss-related locations around London.

There will be one clue every day for the next seven days: solve them all and you could win one of four main prizes, including a pair of tickets to the Olympic cycling finals. Even getting just one answer right will put you in the draw for the runner-up prizes.

Here’s what you can win:

• 1st prize: Two tickets for 3 August in the velodrome: men’s team pursuit finals & women’s keirin finals
• 2nd prize: Dinner for two at La Brasserie, Mosimann’s restaurant in the House of Switzerland
• 3rd prize: Signed copy of Swiss Watching, the No 1 bestseller
• 4th prize: Signed copy of Swisscellany, my new book
• Runners-up: 15 prizes of Swiss chocolates or Swiss biscuits.

Here’s what you have to do:

• A new clue is posted every day on my Facebook page and the House of Switzerland Facebook page
• Solve the daily clue or riddle with the help of the picture
• Send your answers to [email protected]. Do not post them on Facebook or send them to me!
• All seven correct answers are needed for entry into the main prize draw
• Runners-up prizes need only one correct answer

If you get all seven clues right, you will be entered into the draw for the four main prizes. To make things easier, you can just send one email on Day Seven with all the answers together. If you don’t know all the answers, you can still enter the draw for the runners-up prizes – one correct answer is the minimum needed for entry. That also means that if you send in seven answers for the main draw, but one or more is actually wrong, you will go into the runners-up draw instead. As long as you get one answer right, you stand a chance of winning something!

This competition is free and open to anyone aged 18 or over. Please note that the first prize must be collected from the House of Switzerland and the second prize is only valid until the House closes on 12 August. All other prizes can be won by anyone anywhere in the world. The Hunt closes at midnoght on Sunday 22 July. For all the rules, see the House of Switzerland website.
