The Big Swiss Quiz 2020: Day 5 questions
December 11, 2020, 2 Comments
Final day of the Big Swiss Quiz with some great prizes up for grabs, such as tickets to Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn or Titlis. There are 30 questions, with six posted each day this week. If you missed the first rounds of questions, you can find them here: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3 & Day 4.
All you have to do is answer the 30 questions correctly and keep a note of the answers. Details of all the prizes and rules can be found here.
Deadline is 15 December.
Each answer is a whole number (no fractions or decimal points) and by the end, you’ll have 30 numbers. Add them together and that’s your total, which is your ticket to enter into the prize draw. So, here are the last six questions:
25. Lago Maggiore (shown above) is Switzerland‘s lowest point so how low is it (in metres)?
26. If A is worth1, B 2, C 3 etc, what is sum of adding the letters of Ticino together?
27. What is the PLZ (postcode/zip code) for Basel’s Rathaus?
28. What percentage of Switzerland’s population are foreigners?
29. Neuchatel was a principality for years. When did it become a canton?
30. What is the official Pantone number for the red on the Swiss flag?
That’s it! You should now have 30 numbers. Add them together to produce your total (hint: it’s a five-figure number): DO NOT SEND ALL 30 ANSWERS!
Once you have your final total, you can send it to me to enter the prize draw:
- via email
- leave a comment here
- post on my Facebook page
- tweet on my Twitter feed
All correct entries will go into a draw for the prizes: deadline is 23:59 Swiss time on 15 December. A reminder that all the prizes and rules can be found here.
Good luck!
