Happy Swiss Christmas everyone!

Christmas is a very Swiss festival. Not because the day has anything to do with Switzerland but because its first two letters are C and H. The international abbreviation for the Swiss Confederation has found a new meaning.

For the past 11 years I have celebrated Christmas in Switzerland without realising it’s actually CH-ristmas. This year it finally dawned on me so my CH-ristmas will be an extra special one, even if it’s not white.

So Happy CH-ristmas everyone. Here’s hoping that next year won’t be as bad as this one.
