Swiss Watching on tour!
August 30, 2010, 5 Comments
The time has come for Swiss Watching to go on the road (well, rails actually as I don’t have a car). This week sees the start of various events around Switzerland, mostly in bookshops, where you can come along to join in the fun. Bookshop events are in the evenings, with a mixture of reading, chatting, drinking, and nibbling, plus some audience involvement thrown in for good measure (don’t worry, nothing terrible as it’ll most likely involve chocolate), and of course a chance to buy a signed copy of the book if you want. Or you can find me at the Expat Expo fair. Here’s what’s coming up in September:
Wednesday 1st at 6.30pm: Talk Party at Bergli Books in Basel. RSVP [email protected] or 061 373 2777
Friday 3rd at 8.15pm: Book reading & discussion at Orell Füssli English Bookshop in Zürich. Reservations essential. RSVP [email protected] or 044 211 0444
Sunday 5th at 11am-5pm: Expat Expo fair at the Kongresshaus in Zürich. Stand number 60
Wednesday 8th at 8pm: Book party & reading at Stauffacher in Bern. Reservations necessary. RSVP [email protected] or 031 313 6363
Friday 24th at 6.30pm: Book reading & drinks at Off the Shelf in Geneva. RSVP [email protected] or 022 311 1090
I hope to see you at one of these events. If you can’t make any, there are more coming later in the autumn in Lausanne, Lugano, Lucerne and Geneva. See my Events page here for more details – or contact me.

Wonderful – thanks for sharing! I’ll try to attend your Orell Füssli event this Friday… There’s no better way to enjoy a book than through a reading by its author!
Great! It should be a fun evening – chocolate tasting, a quiz, drinks, readings and a chance for discussion. Hope to see you there Dimitri.
Hope your tour got off to a great start. I’ll be at Orell Füssli in Zürich too. And that was even before I knew about a chocolate tasting 😉 Tschüss !
It was great. 45 people in Bergli Books in Basel. Made them laugh, made them think, so I was happy. See you tomorrow
